Nicole

I remember the very first moment

When the world felt suddenly new

From the day you were born, my Nicole

Every prayer that I whispered was you

You didn't even have to try

To capture my soul from the start

From the very first breath that you took

You completely won over my heart

Oh, my beautiful, sweet granddaughter

You are kind, you are gentle and bright

Walking through life with such deep respect

Filling up every room with your light

You're a joy that I can't help but sing of

A love I will always adore

I love you, my amazing Nicole

Today and forevermore

I look at the way that you carry yourself

With a spirit so sweet and so pure

You treat everyone with a loving embrace

Of that, I have always been sure

You honor the people around you

With a smile that can chase out the dark

You're everything good in this world

And you leave such a beautiful mark

Oh, my beautiful, sweet granddaughter

You are kind, you are gentle and bright

Walking through life with such deep respect

Filling up every room with your light

You're a joy that I can't help but sing of

A love I will always adore

I love you, my amazing Nicole

Today and forevermore

Through every season, through every year

I count all the blessings of having you here

You're loving and amazing, a gift from above

My precious Nicole, you are wrapped in my love

Oh, my beautiful, sweet granddaughter

You are kind, you are gentle and bright

Walking through life with such deep respect

Filling up every room with your light

You're a joy that I can't help but sing of

A love I will always adore

I love you, my amazing Nicole

Today and forevermore
