Carletta

I still remember that very first breath

Holding my firstborn right here to my chest

Carletta, you changed how my whole world spins

You were the blessing where my life begins

I poured all my hopes into raising you right

Now I get to sit back and witness your light

Look at the woman you've grown up to be

Rooted in spirit and loving so deep

You lift people up with the grace that you show

A beautiful mother, I'm watching you glow

Carletta, I'm proud of the soul that you are

You keep us together, my brightest star

You took all the lessons we learned in our home

And built a sweet sanctuary all of your own

Four beautiful babies, my grandchildren now

I see how you guide them, and I just stand proud

You give them a foundation steady and strong

A family-first kind of love where they belong

Look at the woman you've grown up to be

Rooted in spirit and loving so deep

You lift people up with the grace that you show

A beautiful mother, I'm watching you glow

Carletta, I'm proud of the soul that you are

You keep us together, my brightest star

When seasons get heavy, you pray through the night

You speak words of comfort and walk in the light

Encouraging everyone, holding us close

As your mother, that's what I cherish the most

You've taken my heart and you've made it expand

Walking this journey, holding my hand

Oh, look at the woman you've grown up to be

Rooted in spirit and loving so deep

You lift people up with the grace that you show

A beautiful mother, I'm watching you glow

Carletta, I'm proud of the soul that you are

My firstborn daughter, my brightest star
