Jonathan

We started out as friends, just talking 'bout our dreams

Sharing conversations on what this whole life means

I saw how much we shared, the common ground we trod

But the greatest bond between us is our deep love for God

Oh, Jonathan, you lead with a wise and loving hand

A devoted, caring husband, right beside me as I stand

You protect this love we're building, for all the world to see

By His grace, we are the Jacksons, and we were meant to be

We know each other's weaknesses, we know each other's strengths

To keep this family lifted up, you go to any lengths

You hold me through my flaws, you celebrate my best

With a man who loves the Lord like you, I know that I am blessed

Oh, Jonathan, you lead with a wise and loving hand

A devoted, caring husband, right beside me as I stand

You protect this love we're building, for all the world to see

By His grace, we are the Jacksons, and we were meant to be

Lord, I thank You for this man, for the wisdom in his soul

For a covenant of heaven that makes my spirit whole

From two friends just talking life, to a love so fierce and free

God has written out our story for all eternity

Oh, Jonathan, you lead with a wise and loving hand

A devoted, caring husband, right beside me as I stand

You protect this love we're building, for all the world to see

By His grace, we are the Jacksons, and we were meant to be

Hallelujah, we're the Jacksons, and we were meant to be!
