Selena

Lord knows the shadows tried to call out your name

But you walked through the fire and you conquered the flame

Look in the mirror at the grace on your face

Every day of recovery is a miracle of grace

Selena, you're brave, you're a fighter, it's true

There is so much of heaven shining right out of you

So keep your head up, you are strong, you are free

You’re a beautiful soul for the whole world to see

You are loved, you are worthy, an overcomer now

The storm has passed over, you made it somehow

Oh, Selena, let the spirit sing it loud

Keep your head up high, you should be so proud

You carry a humor that can light up the room

A loving heart blooming right out of the gloom

Some days are heavy, but you handle the weight

You traded the sorrow for a brand new slate

You are worthy of the peace that the morning light brings

You’re the reason this brand new melody sings

So keep your head up, you are strong, you are free

You’re a beautiful soul for the whole world to see

You are loved, you are worthy, an overcomer now

The storm has passed over, you made it somehow

Oh, Selena, let the spirit sing it loud

Keep your head up high, you should be so proud

The road of addiction was a mountain so steep

But you woke up your spirit from a dangerous sleep

Step by step, day by day, you are claiming your ground

Once you were captive, but thank God you are found

So keep your head up, you are strong, you are free

You’re a beautiful soul for the whole world to see

You are loved, you are worthy, an overcomer now

The storm has passed over, you made it somehow

Oh, Selena, let the choir sing it loud

Keep your head up high, you have made yourself proud
