Ramona

You have walked the narrow valley with a willing, open heart

Always pouring from your spirit, always doing your small part

A faithful servant through the seasons, giving everything you can

But the Lord is gently reaching out to take you by the hand

He says, Ramona, let the heavy burdens fall

You don't have to carry every weight or answer every call

Lay your worries at the altar, where the weary find their rest

Lean your head upon the Savior, for He knows exactly best

Ramona, hear the promise from the Maker of the dawn:

Be still, and know that I am God.

You have learned the grace of pardon, letting go of bitter things

With a humble, quiet spirit, and the peace forgiveness brings

Bowing down to seek His mercy, never asking for the praise

Just a vessel for the kingdom, walking in His holy ways

He says, Ramona, let the heavy burdens fall

You don't have to carry every weight or answer every call

Lay your worries at the altar, where the weary find their rest

Lean your head upon the Savior, for He knows exactly best

Ramona, hear the promise from the Maker of the dawn:

Be still, and know that I am God.

There is beauty in the serving, there is honor in the deed

But the Shepherd loves the sheep beyond the tending of the need

So close your eyes and breathe the Spirit, let the striving fade away

Tomorrow has its own design, just rest in Him today

Oh, Ramona, let the heavy burdens fall

You don't have to carry every weight or answer every call

Lay your worries at the altar, where the weary find their rest

Lean your head upon the Savior, for He knows exactly best

Ramona, hear the promise from the Maker of the dawn:

Be still, and know that I am God

Rest your hands, be still, and know that I am God.
