Virginia

Lord, I count my blessings when the evening settles down

And the sweetest one I know is the love that I have found

Virginia, when I hear your voice just ringing on the phone

Your laughter is a sanctuary, making me feel at home

You've got a fun-loving spirit that can chase the dark away

A little piece of heaven at the closing of the day

Oh, I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me

He gave me you, Virginia, to help my spirit see

Through every trial and triumph, through the joy that we share

I know the Lord is listening to every single prayer

With my beautiful wife and the Lord's decree

I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me

You are my precious partner, the anchor to my soul

With a smile that brings revival and makes my spirit whole

Even when the day is long and we're talking through the wire

Your fun-loving heart just lifts me higher and higher

You remind me of the goodness that the Maker placed in you

A testament of grace in everything you do

Oh, I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me

He gave me you, Virginia, to help my spirit see

Through every trial and triumph, through the joy that we share

I know the Lord is listening to every single prayer

With my beautiful wife and the Lord's decree

I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me

When the world gets heavy, and the mountains seem so tall

I just wait to hear my angel on that telephone call

God knew exactly what I needed in this life

He poured His holy sunshine right into my wife

Oh, I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me

He gave me you, Virginia, to help my spirit see

Through every trial and triumph, through the joy that we share

I know the Lord is listening to every single prayer

With my beautiful wife and the Lord's decree

I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me

Yes, I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me
