Josh

Thinking back to the warmth of the sun

When the story of our lives had just begun

Running down to the river to swim

I was always following him

Driving up to Grandma and Grandpa's door

I couldn't have asked for a blessing more

Through every season, through every year

I am so grateful that you are here

Josh, I look up to you, I always do

You're the honest light that leads me through

With a wise mind and a funny soul

You make the heavy days feel whole

I am so proud you're my big brother

A lovable heart unlike any other

I thank the Lord for the bond we share

I look up to you, knowing you're there

You speak the truth when I need to hear

Your laughter chases away the fear

A faithful spirit, a steady hand

You help me see where I need to stand

From the riverbanks of our younger days

To the man you are in a million ways

I see the grace in the life you live

And all the kindness you always give

Josh, I look up to you, I always do

You're the honest light that leads me through

With a wise mind and a funny soul

You make the heavy days feel whole

I am so proud you're my big brother

A lovable heart unlike any other

I thank the Lord for the bond we share

I look up to you, knowing you're there

Every memory we made, every truth you've told

Is a treasure that my spirit will hold

I just want to sing it loud and clear

I love you, Josh, I hold you near

You're the kind of man I strive to be

Thank you for always watching over me

Josh, I look up to you, I always do

You're the honest light that leads me through

With a wise mind and a funny soul

You make the heavy days feel whole

I am so proud you're my big brother

A lovable heart unlike any other

I thank the Lord for the bond we share

I look up to you, knowing you're there
