Payton

I still remember that beautiful day

When all of the waiting just melted away

I was right in the room when you took your first breath

My first grandbaby, I was instantly blessed

I held you so close, so tiny and new

And promised my heart would belong right to you

Oh Payton, my sweet girl, so loving and bright

You fill up my life with a beautiful light

Your Nana loves you, unconditionally

You mean the whole world, my darling, to me

Through all of your days, whatever you do

I will always, always be here for you

I love every minute of the time that we share

You're giving and helpful, you genuinely care

I look at you now and I feel so much pride

Whenever my Sally is right by my side

You carry a warmth everywhere that you go

And I just wanted to make sure you know

Oh Payton, my sweet girl, so loving and bright

You fill up my life with a beautiful light

Your Nana loves you, unconditionally

You mean the whole world, my darling, to me

Through all of your days, whatever you do

I will always, always be here for you

I love your kind heart, it's a gift to this earth

I've watched it unfold since the day of your birth

You showed me a love that I'd never known

And I'm so amazed by the grace you have shown

Oh Payton, my sweet girl, so loving and bright

You fill up my life with a beautiful light

Your Nana loves you, unconditionally

You mean the whole world, my darling, to me

Through all of your days, whatever you do

I will always, always be here for you
