Ruben

You’re always moving, always quick on your feet

Bringing the laughter every time that we meet

You got that athletic drive, you never slow down

The funniest brother to have around

But it ain't just the jokes or the games that you play

It’s how you keep this family anchored every day

We love you, Ruben, hope your birthday is bright

You fill up the room with a beautiful light

You’re the heart of this family, the one we can trust

Always showing up and standing tall for us

So we’re celebrating you in every single way

Happy birthday, brother, enjoy your day

I look back on the shadows, the tears that we cried

When we were standing right there by our mother’s side

In her final moments, when the time slipped away

You were the strength that helped us through the gray

Holding her close, keeping us strong

Proving exactly where your deep roots belong

We love you, Ruben, hope your birthday is bright

You fill up the room with a beautiful light

You’re the heart of this family, the one we can trust

Always showing up and standing tall for us

So we’re celebrating you in every single way

Happy birthday, brother, enjoy your day

Through the hardest of times and the best of the years

You bring out the smiles and you wipe away tears

A true family man with a spirit so rare

Whenever we need you, we know that you're there

So take a deep breath, let the good times roll

You've got a champion's heart and a beautiful soul

We love you, Ruben, hope your birthday is bright

You fill up the room with a beautiful light

You’re the heart of this family, the one we can trust

Always showing up and standing tall for us

So we’re celebrating you in every single way

Happy birthday, Ruben, enjoy your day

Yeah, happy birthday, brother, enjoy your day
