Mathew

Sometimes this world spins a little too fast

But you know how to make the sweet moments last

Mathew, you never rush, you just let me be

I thank God for the patience you have with me

You're the calm in my storm when the shadows fall

And your gentle way makes sense of it all

Oh, I'll cherish you always and forever

Through the easy days and the stormy weather

I'm the luckiest woman right here where I stand

With your big tender heart and my hand in your hand

I remember the day my granddaughter arrived

The tears in our eyes and the joy in our lives

We held her together, so tiny and new

And I saw the pure goodness shining in you

Just watching you welcome a life just begun

Proved to my soul that you were the one

Oh, I'll cherish you always and forever

Through the easy days and the stormy weather

I'm the luckiest woman right here where I stand

With your big tender heart and my hand in your hand

Soon we'll be standing and saying our vows

But I'm making a promise to you right now

For the rest of our days, as the years come and go

You're the love of my life, and I want you to know

That I'll cherish you always and forever

Through the easy days and the stormy weather

I'm the luckiest woman right here where I stand

With your big tender heart and my hand in your hand

Yes, I'll cherish you, Mathew, always and forever
