Rue Bear

December thirtieth, a simple glowing screen

I found my forever, a love I'd never seen

TikTok sparked a fire, and we never looked back

Inseparable ever since, keeping us on track

You drove all the way from Texas to Washington State

Crossed a thousand miles just to change my fate

To pick me up and bring me home to you

My devoted husband, so faithful and true

Oh, Rue Bear, it’s you and me against the world

I'll stand by your side as our future unfurls

Through every long mile and every memory

It’s you and me for all eternity

My loving, caring, hardworking man

I’ll hold your heart right here in my hand

We sealed our promise with the ink on our skin

Matching name tattoos, letting forever begin

Now we're cuddling close, watching movies all night

With your funny, kind soul making everything right

Windows down on a road trip, singing to the beat

Eating out together, making memories sweet

You work so hard, but you always make time

Respectful and understanding, bringing peace to my mind

Oh, Rue Bear, it’s you and me against the world

I'll stand by your side as our future unfurls

Through every long mile and every memory

It’s you and me for all eternity

My loving, caring, hardworking man

I’ll hold your heart right here in my hand

You’re so determined in all that you do

I thank my lucky stars that I married you

From a digital spark to our wedding rings

Just having fun, doing our favorite things

Oh, Rue Bear, it’s you and me against the world

I'll stand by your side as our future unfurls

Through every long mile and every memory

It’s you and me for all eternity

I love you, Rue Bear, my patient man

Together forever, exactly as planned
