Isabella

Twenty-six years ago, when you opened your eyes

God reminded me He still answers prayers from the skies

When you arrived, my whole world became new

I was blessed with a daughter, and a best friend in you

Faithful and loyal, so loving and kind

A beautiful spirit, a beautiful mind

Isabella, you were, and you are, and you'll be

My beautiful blessing from God, given to me

Delight in the Lord, let your faith be the spark

And He'll give you the deepest desires of your heart

You're my beautiful blessing, forever and always

From our Nutcracker moments, so magic and bright

To digging for crystals and holding them tight

You are protective, consistent, and strong

It's been a joyous life, like a beautiful song

Every step of the way, through the laughter and tears

We've built up a love that will outlast the years

Isabella, you were, and you are, and you'll be

My beautiful blessing from God, given to me

Delight in the Lord, let your faith be the spark

And He'll give you the deepest desires of your heart

You're my beautiful blessing, forever and always

God is always right with you, wherever you go

Just give Him your all and His promises will show

Watch them unfold as you walk in His grace

Trust in His timing and seek out His face

Isabella, you were, and you are, and you'll be

My beautiful blessing from God, given to me

Delight in the Lord, let your faith be the spark

And He'll give you the deepest desires of your heart

You're my beautiful blessing, forever and always

My beautiful blessing, for the rest of my days
