I walked through the doors of Trader Bucks that day

Didn't know my whole world was about to change

I saw you standing there in your faded jean shorts

In a simple green shirt, with a smile I couldn't ignore

Your hair was tossed up, you lit up the room

We got our family started, it's a beautiful ride

Through all of the changes, you stayed by my side

We went down to Alabama, out on the ocean blue

Taking a dolphin cruise, just me and you

We drove up to Tennessee just for the night

And traveled to Florida under the sun's warm light

But my favorite moments are walking through the zoo

Watching your face light up at the animals, too.
