Sandy

We were only teenagers when the story began

Young and so wide-eyed, just holding your hand

But the seasons kept turning and I moved away

Though I carried your memory day after day

The miles came between us, the years hurried past

But some kinds of sparks are created to last

Now we're in our senior years, standing side by side

God brought us back together, He was always our guide

You're so strong-willed and selfless, giving all that you do

There is a reason He led me right back to you

We can trust in His plan, we can trust in His grace

Sandy, I've finally found my true place

I watch how you care, how you give everything

With a beautiful spirit and comfort you bring

You put others first without thinking twice

Your strong-willed devotion is the light of my life

After all of the winding and wandering roads

You are the shelter my heavy heart knows

Now we're in our senior years, standing side by side

God brought us back together, He was always our guide

You're so strong-willed and selfless, giving all that you do

There is a reason He led me right back to you

We can trust in His plan, we can trust in His grace

Sandy, I've finally found my true place

We'll walk through these days with our faith as our stone

Never in darkness and never alone

He saved this last chapter for you and for me

To show us exactly what true love should be

Now we're in our senior years, standing side by side

God brought us back together, He was always our guide

You're so strong-willed and selfless, giving all that you do

There is a reason He led me right back to you

We will trust in His hands as we walk down this road

Sandy, I'll love you until He calls us home
