Rhonda

For thirty years, the clouds were hanging low

Taking every wrong turn on a heavy road

Carrying the weight of a quiet despair

Wondering if the sun was ever shining out there

But you weathered the setbacks and fought through the night

Looking for a spark to bring you back to life

Rhonda, you've got a new lease on life

Step out of the shadows, it's your time to shine

You finally learned how to love who you are

Following the right road, healing your heart

Let the past be the past, the now is all yours

Open up your spirit and soar

You found a hand that helped you see the truth

Someone who held up a mirror right to you

Showed you that the healing had to start inside

Before you could let somebody else in for the ride

Dropped a hundred thirty pounds, leaving it behind

Taking back the wheel with a brand new mind

Rhonda, you've got a new lease on life

Step out of the shadows, it's your time to shine

You finally learned how to love who you are

Following the right road, healing your heart

Let the past be the past, the now is all yours

Open up your spirit and soar

Get that wind therapy out on the Harley

Riding toward the sunset, no longer sorry

Taking those boat rides with the ones that you love

You beat all the fears that were towering above

The past is a ghost, let it stay in the past

You found your way to the right road at last

Yeah, Rhonda, you've got a new lease on life

Step out of the shadows, it's your time to shine

You finally learned how to love who you are

Following the right road, healing your heart

Let the past be the past, the now is all yours

Act on the moment, open up and soar

It's your time to shine, the now is all yours
