Andrew

The day that I gave birth to you, the heavens smiled on me

A blessing sent straight down from God for all my eyes to see

From a little baby boy to the grown man standing tall

You are the best thing in my life, my greatest joy of all

I've cherished every single day, I've loved you from the start

You always brighten up my days and captivate my heart

So stay prayed up, my Andrew, and never give up the fight

Keep your focus on the Lord, and He will lead you to the light

He will always guide your steps, no matter where you go

I love you unconditionally, I need to let you know

You are my world, my precious son, a blessing from above

Wrapped in His amazing grace and a mother's endless love

You have a spirit that is patient, a soul that deeply cares

You keep me laughing with your humor, an answer to my prayers

Always so protective, with a pure heart made of gold

Watching you become a man is a beauty to behold

You carry such a heavy load with grace I can't explain

Your smile is like the morning sun that washes out the rain

So stay prayed up, my Andrew, and never give up the fight

Keep your focus on the Lord, and He will lead you to the light

He will always guide your steps, no matter where you go

I love you unconditionally, I need to let you know

You are my world, my precious son, a blessing from above

Wrapped in His amazing grace and a mother's endless love

Now you're stepping out in faith, and as the years grow older

I can't always be right there to look over your shoulder

But remember you are never alone when I can't be around

God is walking right beside you on solid, holy ground

When the road gets hard to travel and the shadows start to fall

Just reach your hands up to the sky, He will answer when you call

From your very first breath to the man I see today

I thank the Lord for you every time I bow to pray

Keep that patience and that care, keep your spirit bright

As long as you hold onto faith, you'll walk within His light

You're my greatest gift, Andrew, my treasure and my prize

I see the goodness of the Lord reflecting in your eyes

Oh, stay prayed up, my Andrew, and never give up the fight!

Keep your focus on the Lord, and He will lead you to the light!

He will always guide your steps, no matter where you go

I love you unconditionally, I want the world to know!

You are my world, my precious son, my blessing from above

Forever in the Savior's hands, forever in my love!
