Kathryn

I look back on all of the years growing up

I've been by your side through the highs and the lows

I've seen how you fill up everyone's cup

Just watching your beautiful character grow

You hold every friendship so close to your chest

Always just giving the people your best

Kathryn, you were created with purpose

Formed by a love that is deeper than oceans

When the road gets heavy and shadows fall

God is right there, He will carry it all

He won't ever leave you alone in the dark

He placed a beautiful plan in your heart

I see how you care for the people around you

Always desiring to do something good

You treasure the friendships that anchor and ground you

Loving them fiercely the way that you should

But even the ones who are giving so much

Need to remember they're held by His touch

Kathryn, you were created with purpose

Formed by a love that is deeper than oceans

When the road gets heavy and shadows fall

God is right there, He will carry it all

He won't ever leave you alone in the dark

He placed a beautiful plan in your heart

When the difficult times try to break down your walls

And you feel like you're walking through fire and rain

Remember the Maker who catches your falls

Will never abandon you inside the pain

You're held in His hands, you are safe in His sight

You are so loved, you were made for the light

Kathryn, you were created with purpose

Formed by a love that is deeper than oceans

When the road gets heavy and shadows fall

God is right there, He will carry it all

He won't ever leave you alone in the dark

He placed a beautiful plan in your heart
