Angel

Some families happen by chance, it's true

But I got so lucky the day I met you

More than a brother-in-law from the start

You're a friend who brings a smile to my heart

Oh, Angel, I hope you will always see

How much of a blessing you are to me

In every moment, in every way

You make it a brighter and happier day

You're amazingly special, loving and true

I am so grateful for a friend like you

I treasure the moments we get to share

Because of the way that you love and you care

Whenever I'm down, you're right on the cue

With a joke and a laugh that will carry me through

Oh, Angel, I hope you will always see

How much of a blessing you are to me

In every moment, in every way

You make it a brighter and happier day

You're amazingly special, loving and true

I am so grateful for a friend like you

So if you ever forget what you're worth

Or the joy that you bring to our time on this earth

Just remember the words that I'm telling you here

Having your humor makes clouds disappear

Keep being the caring and wonderful soul

Who makes all the people around him feel whole

Angel, you're family, a brother, a friend

A genuine bond I will cherish without end

Oh, Angel, I hope you will always see

How much of a blessing you are to me

In every moment, in every way

You make it a brighter and happier day

You're amazingly special, loving and true

I am so grateful for a friend like you
