Corey

Back in ninety-six, we said "I do"

My handsome man, starting out brand new

Ninety-seven brought a baby girl to hold

Then the boys came along, brave and bold

Ninety-eight, two-thousand, and two-thousand-two

A house full of laughter, all anchored by you

You always kept it funny when the days were long

Right by my side is where you belong

Oh, Corey, we see everything you do

There ain't a man who works as hard as you

You carried the weight, you provided the way

With a wise, loving heart at the end of the day

Look at this family, look at this life

I'm so proud to be your wife

Now the years roll on and the family grows

Just how big it'll get, only heaven knows

September thirteen is your special day

But two granddaughters came and stole it away

Born on your birthday, lightning striking twice

With two little grandsons making life so nice

And another baby girl getting ready to appear

There's a whole lot of love multiplying every year

Oh, Corey, we see everything you do

There ain't a man who works as hard as you

You carried the weight, you provided the way

With a wise, loving heart at the end of the day

Look at this family, look at this life

I'm so proud to be your wife

You never asked for a trophy or praise

Just put your head down through the busiest days

But we see the sweat, and we see the care

Every time we needed you, Corey, you were there

Oh, Corey, we see everything you do

There ain't a man who works as hard as you

You carried the weight, you provided the way

With a wise, loving heart at the end of the day

Look at this family, look at this life

I'm so proud to be your wife

Yeah, we love you more than words can say
