LuAnne

You see the world in colors that others never find

You're shaping every moment with a beautiful design

LuAnne, you have a talent for bringing in the light

You take the heavy shadows and make them turn out bright

You're a perfect gift from God, sent exactly when I need

A heart so full of kindness in every word and deed

Whenever I am struggling, you're standing right beside

I thank heaven for the friend who is my comfort and my guide

I think about the moments my world was spinning round

You stepped into the chaos and kept me on the ground

You showed up with a shoulder, you cared enough to stay

Your quiet understanding just washed the fear away

You're a perfect gift from God, sent exactly when I need

A heart so full of kindness in every word and deed

Whenever I am struggling, you're standing right beside

I thank heaven for the friend who is my comfort and my guide

Your creativity is more than what you make or do

It’s in the way you love the people standing next to you

A masterpiece of empathy, a rare and steady grace

You leave a little piece of heaven in every single place

You're a perfect gift from God, sent exactly when I need

A heart so full of kindness in every word and deed

Whenever I am struggling, you're standing right beside

I thank heaven for the friend who is my comfort and my guide

Yes, I thank heaven every day for LuAnne, my dearest friend
