Lil willie

Thinking 'bout the days back down in Texas

You were always stepping up for me

Making all the groceries, counting blessings

Showing me the man you'd grow to be

You got a giving heart, a loving spirit

I play those memories back just so I can hear it

So keep your head up, Lil Willie, keep it high

Don't let the heavy shadows dim your sky

You got that strength inside, there is no limit

Hold on tight, you'll be home in a minute

Yeah, you'll be home in a minute

I miss the way you're always, always laughing

Bringing so much light into the room

I know right now the time is moving slowly

But this season's gonna be over soon

You are so strong, you weather every weather

Just keep that joy alive until we're back together

So keep your head up, Lil Willie, keep it high

Don't let the heavy shadows dim your sky

You got that strength inside, there is no limit

Hold on tight, you'll be home in a minute

Yeah, you'll be home in a minute

Every single day I'm sending up a prayer

Just to let you know my love is right there

No matter the distance, no matter the space

I'm saving a smile for the look on your face

Just a little more time, son, you're doing fine

Keep your head up, Lil Willie, keep it high

Don't let the heavy shadows dim your sky

You got that strength inside, there is no limit

Hold on tight, you'll be home in a minute

Yeah, keep your head up, son

You'll be home in a minute
