Marsha

Lord, I count my blessings every single day

For the beautiful spirit You sent my way

Marsha, you are brilliant, the way you understand

Walking through this life with a gentle, guiding hand

You wait with a patience that I have never known

A lovable heart that feels just like my home

Oh, let the choir sing it out, let the heavens hear

Delroy loves you, Marsha, let me make it clear

Not for what you have, but for the soul inside

You’re my daily blessing, you’re my joy and pride

I love you, I love you, Lord knows it’s the truth

Because of who you are, I give my heart to you

I hold onto the vision, I celebrate the date

When I saw the miracle that was worth the wait

September twenty-ninth, twenty-twenty-six

A moment in time where my spirit lifts

At Norman Manley airport, under Kingston skies

I saw forever shining right there in your eyes

Oh, let the choir sing it out, let the heavens hear

Delroy loves you, Marsha, let me make it clear

Not for what you have, but for the soul inside

You’re my daily blessing, you’re my joy and pride

I love you, I love you, Lord knows it’s the truth

Because of who you are, I give my heart to you

Your intelligence is a beacon, your patience is a light

You guide me through the shadows, you make my spirit right

So lovable and kind, a masterpiece of grace

I thank the Lord above for the smile upon your face

Oh, let the choir sing it out, let the heavens hear

Delroy loves you, Marsha, let me make it clear

Not for what you have, but for the soul inside

You’re my daily blessing, you’re my joy and pride

I love you, I love you, Lord knows it’s the truth

Because of who you are, I give my heart to you
