Qua'tarius

I look back on the days when you were so small

My little shadow, right down the hall

Following behind me wherever I'd go

I'm praising the Lord as I watch how you grow

Now you light up the room with the jokes that you share

A loving grandson with a spirit so rare

Oh, Qua'tarius, hear what I say

When the burdens get heavy and skies turn to gray

Hold on to the truth, let it be your guide

The Lord is standing right by your side

He will never leave you, He will never forsake

He is the rock in every step that you take

I treasure the moments we sit down and talk

I see your devotion in the way that you walk

So hardworking, dedicated, and true

A protective young man shines out of you

You care for your loved ones, you carry your part

With the love of the Savior alive in your heart

Oh, Qua'tarius, hear what I say

When the burdens get heavy and skies turn to gray

Hold on to the truth, let it be your guide

The Lord is standing right by your side

He will never leave you, He will never forsake

He is the rock in every step that you take

When the trials of the world try to test what you know

Remember our talks and the seeds that we sow

His grace is a shield, His mercy is deep

He honors the faith and the promises you keep

Keep laughing, keep working, keep standing so tall

The Master is holding you through it all

Oh, Qua'tarius, hear what I say

When the burdens get heavy and skies turn to gray

Hold on to the truth, let it be your guide

The Lord is standing right by your side

He will never leave you, He will never forsake

He is the rock in every step that you take

No, He'll never leave you, He will never forsake!
