NEVAYLA AND ROMAN

My sweet granddaughter Nevayla, you have a heart so kind

A beautiful spirit that perfectly shines

My grandson Roman, you bring laughter and light

So handsome and funny, making everything bright

You are the joy of my days, my wonderful two

I thank the good Lord for blessing me with you

When we turn on the gospel and start singing along

Every word is a blessing, every note is a song

Praising the Savior, feeling His grace

With the joy shining wide on each of your faces

Nevayla and Roman, you're a light in the dark

You're the worship that echoes right here in my heart

I love when the music starts filling the room

We lift up our voices and banish the gloom

We sing out the lyrics, we follow the beat

Praising the Lord right out of our seats

Hearing you worship, so pure and so true

There is nothing like sharing His presence with you

When we turn on the gospel and start singing along

Every word is a blessing, every note is a song

Praising the Savior, feeling His grace

With the joy shining wide on each of your faces

Nevayla and Roman, you're a light in the dark

You're the worship that echoes right here in my heart

Philippians 4:18 tells me I'm richly supplied

I have all that I need with you two by my side

You are a fragrant offering, a gift from above

Pleasing to God and surrounded by love

You fill up my cup until it overflows

With a heavenly peace that just continues to grow

When we turn on the gospel and start singing along

Every word is a blessing, every note is a song

Praising the Savior, feeling His grace

With the joy shining wide on each of your faces

Nevayla and Roman, you're a light in the dark

You're the worship that echoes right here in my heart

Yes, you're the melody playing right here in my heart
