Outcast by my own family, carrying the blame

More than once my breathing stopped, I reached the other side

When my grandpa passed away, the sorrow took a heavy toll

My husband was the only person left to anchor down my soul

He believed in my potential when the rest had walked away

Now I'm a mother and a wife, thanking Jesus for today
