Matthew

Lord, I look at the man I've become

Knowing the good comes from what You have done

You gave me a spirit that's ready to care

And a sense of humor to lighten the air

If they see me as kind, it’s Your Spirit they see

Matthew is only who You made him to be

Jesus, You are everything

The breath in my lungs and the reason I sing

More than the blessings that pour from above

My whole life is anchored right here in Your love

Through every season, whatever it brings

Jesus, You are everything

I think of my marriage, the vow and the ring

The beautiful life that two people can bring

We built up our home with You as the guide

Keeping Your truth and Your word by our side

You teach me the patience to weather the storm

And give me the love that keeps our house warm

Jesus, You are everything

The breath in my lungs and the reason I sing

More than the blessings that pour from above

My whole life is anchored right here in Your love

Through every season, whatever it brings

Jesus, You are everything

Take the laughter, take the days

I will turn them into praise

Every step I walk ahead

I will follow where You led

Take my heart and make it Yours

You're the Savior I adore

'Cause Jesus, You are everything

The breath in my lungs and the reason I sing

More than the blessings that pour from above

My whole life is anchored right here in Your love

Through every season, whatever it brings

Jesus, You are everything

Yes, Jesus, You are everything
