Willita

We share an address here at Franklin Towers

Just neighbors walking down the same old floors

But a passing hello turned to talking for hours

And I don't feel lonely around here anymore

We found a connection right under this roof

That a beautiful friendship is living proof

Oh, Willita, you're a rare kind of friend

With a patient heart on which I can depend

You've got an encouraging word and wisdom to share

A comforting soul who will always be there

They broke the mold when they made you, it's true

There's nobody else in this world quite like you

When the shadows get heavy and the evening is long

Your gentle kindness keeps my spirit strong

You listen so closely, you care so deep

This bond that we've built is a treasure to keep

Through all of the seasons and days passing by

You're a steady light in my neighborhood sky

Oh, Willita, you're a rare kind of friend

With a patient heart on which I can depend

You've got an encouraging word and wisdom to share

A comforting soul who will always be there

They broke the mold when they made you, it's true

There's nobody else in this world quite like you

It's hard to find wisdom so honest and true

But I found it right here in a neighbor like you

You're perfectly special, right down to the core

I couldn't have asked for a single thing more

Oh, Willita, you're a rare kind of friend

With a patient heart on which I can depend

You've got an encouraging word and wisdom to share

A comforting soul who will always be there

They broke the mold when they made you, it's true

There's nobody else in this world quite like you

Yeah, you're one of a kind, Willita, it's true
