JaMire

Yeah, let me take it back to the start

Little boy with a giant heart

Hanging out with Granny and Papa, holding my hand

Traveling around, seeing so much we had planned

Every place that we went, yeah, we had so much fun

Never a dull moment under the sun

I miss those days when you were just small

But I’m so proud to watch you standing tall

I pray the Lord’s covering over my grandson

Blessings on blessings until the day is done

Keep your mind sharp, keep your spirit strong

Stay on Jesus, and you won't ever go wrong

JaMire, be great in everything you do

Granny is always right here praying for you

Look at the young man you're growing into

Smart and thoughtful in all that you do

Always considerate, showing them grace

Leaving a positive mark on the place

I see how you step up and take a real stand

Protecting your mom and your sisters, stepping up as a man

Helpful and loving, whatever it takes

I know that your path is destined for great

I pray the Lord’s covering over my grandson

Blessings on blessings until the day is done

Keep your mind sharp, keep your spirit strong

Stay on Jesus, and you won't ever go wrong

JaMire, be great in everything you do

Granny is always right here praying for you

Life is a journey, there's mountains to climb

But I know you'll conquer them one at a time

Keep your faith heavy, keep your vision clear

With God as your shield, there is nothing to fear

Hold onto the memories, the places we've been

Now go out and show 'em the greatness within

I pray the Lord’s covering over my grandson

Blessings on blessings until the day is done

Keep your mind sharp, keep your spirit strong

Stay on Jesus, and you won't ever go wrong

JaMire, be great in everything you do

Granny is always right here praying for you

Yeah, Granny is always right here praying for you
