Jerry

I still remember walking into Dede's

The very first time that you caught my eye

You called me Olive Oil right out the gate

And made me laugh as you were walking by

I didn't know it then, but I know now

You'd be the one to turn my world around

Jerry, you're the man with the biggest heart I know

Always helping others everywhere you go

You make me smile when the skies are turning gray

You reached right out and saved me in your own sweet way

I'm your snooty poop, and you're my best friend

I'll love you always and forever, right up to the end

You've always got a joke to lighten up the room

Chasing off the shadows, chasing off the gloom

If somebody needs a hand, you're the first one there

That's just the way you love, that's how much you care

Behind the funny stories and the gentle tease

Is the husband who brought my spirit so much peace

Jerry, you're the man with the biggest heart I know

Always helping others everywhere you go

You make me smile when the skies are turning gray

You reached right out and saved me in your own sweet way

I'm your snooty poop, and you're my best friend

I'll love you always and forever, right up to the end

I was drifting in the dark before you came along

But you took my hand and gave my life a song

From that first silly nickname to the love we share

I'm so lucky to have a man who's always there

Oh Jerry, you're the man with the biggest heart I know

Always helping others everywhere you go

You make me smile when the skies are turning gray

You reached right out and saved me in your own sweet way

I'm your snooty poop, and you're my best friend

I'll love you always and forever, right up to the end

Yeah, always and forever, right up to the end
