Kelly

You're the first to answer when somebody calls

You're the one who catches every tear that falls

Kelly, you've got a heart that's open wide

Always standing by everybody's side

You give so much of yourself to help us through

I am so proud to have a daughter like you

I want you to know how much I love you, Kelly

And the Lord Jesus loves you deeply, too

He will walk beside you through the changing seasons

His grace is always watching over you

Whenever you need a place to rest your soul

He is with you, and He won't let go

I cherish all the fun that we always share

The easy laughter filling up the air

And when I watch you with your grandchildren now

I see the gentle love you pour right out

You hold them close and keep them safe and warm

You are their shelter in a passing storm

I want you to know how much I love you, Kelly

And the Lord Jesus loves you deeply, too

He will walk beside you through the changing seasons

His grace is always watching over you

Whenever you need a place to rest your soul

He is with you, and He won't let go

You spend your time taking care of everyone

From the early morning to the setting sun

But you don't have to carry it all on your own

Because in His hands, you are never alone

I want you to know how much I love you, Kelly

And the Lord Jesus loves you deeply, too

He will walk beside you through the changing seasons

His grace is always watching over you

Whenever you need a place to rest your soul

He is with you, and He won't let go

I love you, Kelly, and He won't let go
