Jesse

Yeah, Jesse, listen up, gotta speak from the soul

You’re my only child, the one that makes me whole

We’ve been through a lot, weathered storms in the night

But your patience was the anchor that kept us in the light

I look at you now, see the wisdom you hold

A mind so sharp and a spirit so bold

Every mountain we climbed, every tear that we shed

Just paved the way for the blessings ahead

I love you so much, more than words could ever say

God has you in His mighty hands, guiding your way

Keep the faith in Jesus, let His love be the spark

He’s the light of the world when the journey gets dark

Yeah, you’re never alone, whatever you face

You are held in His hands, covered in grace

More than just a son, yeah, you grew into a friend

Got a courageous heart on which I can depend

When the pressure gets heavy, you don’t ever fold

You walk with a love that is better than gold

I’m proud of the man that you’re striving to be

Reflecting the truth for the whole world to see

Keep your head to the sky, keep your feet on the ground

With the spirit you carry, you’re heaven-bound

I love you so much, more than words could ever say

God has you in His mighty hands, guiding your way

Keep the faith in Jesus, let His love be the spark

He’s the light of the world when the journey gets dark

Yeah, you’re never alone, whatever you face

You are held in His hands, covered in grace

Through the fire and the rain, we survived every test

Now I’m watching you step into all of your best

Hold on to the Word, let it be your true guide

With the Lord by your side, you got nothing to hide

Stay strong, stay brave, keep your eyes on the prize

I see the reflection of Christ in your eyes

I love you so much, more than words could ever say

God has you in His mighty hands, guiding your way

Keep the faith in Jesus, let His love be the spark

He’s the light of the world when the journey gets dark

Yeah, you’re never alone, whatever you face

You are held in His hands, covered in grace

Yeah, Jesse, you're held in His mighty hands
