Yarelie

I remember the mornings, the field trips we'd take

Holding your hand, every memory we'd make

Watching you learn, watching you shine

Thanking the Father that He made you mine

Now you are older, but one thing is clear

The presence of heaven is felt when you're near

Yarelie, you are the rock where I stand

My firm foundation, held safe in His hand

Patient and smart, with a God-fearing heart

A light in my life from the very start

No matter where this journey takes you, whatever you do

You'll always be my little princess, it's true

I look at the wisdom you quietly show

The grace of the Lord in the way that you grow

When the world rushes by, you are steady and calm

Resting your spirit and reading a psalm

I lean on your faith when the shadows are long

My beautiful daughter, you keep me so strong

Yarelie, you are the rock where I stand

My firm foundation, held safe in His hand

Patient and smart, with a God-fearing heart

A light in my life from the very start

No matter where this journey takes you, whatever you do

You'll always be my little princess, it's true

The road will stretch out, the journey will bend

But Jesus is with you, right to the end

Keep seeking His kingdom, keep trusting His grace

My love goes with you to every new place

'Cause Yarelie, you are the rock where I stand

My firm foundation, held safe in His hand

Patient and smart, with a God-fearing heart

A light in my life from the very start

No matter where this journey takes you, whatever you do

You'll always be my little princess, it's true
