Lisa

Since we were in school, we have walked down this road

I would be lost without you to help share the load

You have a big heart that is caring and wide

A God-fearing woman with the Lord by your side

You look at my life and accept me for me

A beautiful friendship for heaven to see

Oh, Lisa, you mean the whole world to my soul

My sister, my best friend, you help make me whole

I love you bunches, through all of life's days

You cover my spirit whenever you pray

Like First Corinthians, your love never fails

A beautiful grace that will always prevail

I still remember that beautiful day

When you and your husband came down for my birthday

We shared in the laughter, I cherished the time

A gift of your presence, so peaceful and kind

And even when life gets too heavy to bear

I know I am held in the arms of your prayer

Oh, Lisa, you mean the whole world to my soul

My sister, my best friend, you help make me whole

I love you bunches, through all of life's days

You cover my spirit whenever you pray

Like First Corinthians, your love never fails

A beautiful grace that will always prevail

Psalm one thirty-nine says we're wonderfully made

He searches our hearts and He orders our ways

I see His design in the friend that you are

Patient and kind, like a bright morning star

Through every quiet word you send up above

You show me the meaning of His perfect love

Oh, Lisa, you mean the whole world to my soul

My sister, my best friend, you help make me whole

I love you bunches, through all of life's days

You cover my spirit whenever you pray

Like First Corinthians, your love never fails

I thank God for you, Lisa, my sister by grace
