Maria

My sweet sister Maria, you walk with a tender heart

Giving your all to us, right from the start

That beautiful smile brings the morning light

A generous spirit that makes the world bright

You go above and beyond, you pour out your soul

Loving this family and making us whole

He leads you by still waters, He gives you His peace

Just like Psalm 23, His grace won't decrease

Look up to the heavens, see what He has in store

God is smiling on you, because Jesus is more

Oh, God is smiling on you, Maria, Jesus is more!

You're funny without even trying to be

A natural joy for our whole family

You forget the name of the songs that we play

But you carry the music in your own special way

I’ll never forget how you stood by my side

The day my son was born, with your arms open wide

You welcomed that blessing with nothing but love

He leads you by still waters, He gives you His peace

Just like Psalm 23, His grace won't decrease

Look up to the heavens, see what He has in store

God is smiling on you, because Jesus is more

Oh, God is smiling on you, Maria, Jesus is more!

And now with my nieces, you're guiding their way

Helping to raise them and shape them each day

You give and you give, with your hands to the plow

Sister, just look at how God uses you now

You might lose the lyrics, but your spirit can sing

Wrapped up in the goodness that only faith brings!

He leads you by still waters, He gives you His peace

Just like Psalm 23, His grace won't decrease

Look up to the heavens, see what He has in store

God is smiling on you, because Jesus is more

Oh, God is smiling on you, Maria, Jesus is more!

Yes, your cup runneth over, Jesus is more!
