Conner

Conner, you've got a bright fire in your eyes

Always chasing adventure under open skies

You're outgoing and fun, always on the go

With a caring heart that you constantly show

Every single day is a brand new start

And I am so lucky to know your loving heart

I love you with all my heart, more than words can say

I can't wait to watch you grow into a man someday

Just remember when the shadows try to test your faith

With Jesus Christ’s strength, you will find your way

You can do anything you put your mind to

Conner, I am so incredibly proud of you

I take my seat in the bleachers just to watch you play

Seeing you on the baseball field makes my whole day

You step up to the plate with a fearless smile

I could sit and watch you run those bases for a while

You’ve got a loving soul underneath the dust and dirt

Wearing your kindness right on your shirt

I love you with all my heart, more than words can say

I can't wait to watch you grow into a man someday

Just remember when the shadows try to test your faith

With Jesus Christ’s strength, you will find your way

You can do anything you put your mind to

Conner, I am so incredibly proud of you

The innings will pass and the seasons will turn

There are so many beautiful lessons to learn

Keep your eyes on the Lord when the game gets tough

His grace and His power will be more than enough

Whatever you reach for, whatever you dream

You have heaven behind you, building your team

I love you with all my heart, more than words can say

I can't wait to watch you grow into a man someday

Just remember when the shadows try to test your faith

With Jesus Christ’s strength, you will find your way

You can do anything you put your mind to

Conner, my heart is always right there with you
