RJ

I still remember the second you took your first breath

Holding you close, feeling the beat in my chest

Now I look at you, RJ, and see how the time has flown

I'm in awe of the beautiful, strong young man you've grown

Having you in my life is a blessing so deep

A promise of love that I'll forever keep

From that very first moment until where we stand

I am so proud to watch you become your own man

So when you face the challenges this life's gonna bring

Just continue to do your best, and remember one thing

My heart is completely full of the man that you are

No matter the journey, I'm never too far

I'm always in your corner, supporting what you do

Believing in you, RJ, and forever loving you

You go the extra mile for your sister and me

For your sons and your nephews, you're the strength of our tree

Keeping it honest, making us laugh when we're down

You're the most caring and respectful soul around

Always reaching a hand out to help someone else

You pour out your heart, never thinking of yourself

You lift people up with the light that you show

And I just need to make sure that you always know

When you face the challenges this life's gonna bring

Just continue to do your best, and remember one thing

My heart is completely full of the man that you are

No matter the journey, I'm never too far

I'm always in your corner, supporting what you do

Believing in you, RJ, and forever loving you

There will be mountains to climb and some heavy rain

But you've got a spirit that nothing can chain

I'll be your safe haven, your place to retreat

With every new challenge and goal that you meet

No matter what happens, I'm holding your hand

I'm your biggest supporter, your number one fan

So when you face the challenges this life's gonna bring

Just continue to do your best, and remember one thing

My heart is completely full of the man that you are

No matter the journey, I'm never too far

I'm always in your corner, supporting what you do

Believing in you, RJ, and forever loving you

Yeah, no matter what happens, when all's said and done

I'm always in your corner, I love you, my son
