Lord, I wake up every morning with a fire in my soul

Letting honesty and wisdom be the anchor that I hold

They call me Sweets, and I just want to walk the narrow way

Filled up by the Holy Spirit, giving time away each day

I love the Lord with all my heart, I lean upon His grace

To bring a caring, loving hand to every single place

'Cause the only job God trusted me to do

Is to take His holy light and let it shine right through

To show His love inside of me, wherever I might go

To be a blessing to the people, planting seeds to grow

I've worn a lot of hats upon this journey that I tread

A doctor healing bodies, making sure the flock is fed

A teacher in the classroom, a preacher in the aisle

A foster mother bringing every broken heart a smile

I pour out all my caring, I give them all my time
