Christine

I thank the Lord for the day that you came

A beautiful blessing, Christine is your name

So cute and adorable, perfectly made

A gift from the Father that never will fade

I look at your smile and I just have to praise

The Maker of heaven for all of our days

I lift up my hands to the Heavens above

And thank Him for you, my sweet vessel of love

Through every season, whatever we weather

Christine, you are mommy’s girl forever

Yes, you are mommy’s girl forever

You’re my little smarty, so bright and so wise

With a spark of the Spirit alive in your eyes

I treasure the memories, the sweet things you say

They echo like prayers at the end of the day

Every new word is a joy and a song

Reminding my heart where you truly belong

I lift up my hands to the Heavens above

And thank Him for you, my sweet vessel of love

Through every season, whatever we weather

Christine, you are mommy’s girl forever

Yes, you are mommy’s girl forever

May His light surround you wherever you go

May God's tender mercies continue to grow

But even when you are out changing the world

You'll always remain my adorable girl

Held in His hands, but still right here in mine

A love so eternal, a bond by design

So I lift up my hands to the Heavens above

And thank Him for you, my sweet vessel of love

Through every season, whatever we weather

Christine, you are mommy’s girl forever

Yes, you are mommy’s girl forever

Thank God you are mommy's girl forever
