Bobby

I lift up my hands for the gift of my son

And look at the beautiful work God has done

Bobby, you shine with a heavenly grace

I see the Lord's goodness right there in your face

You carry a heart that is open and kind

The purest reflection of love I could find

Oh, Bobby, I pray that you hear this today

You will always be loved, every step of the way

By the Father above, and by me here below

His Spirit is with you wherever you go

Rest in His promise and look at the stars

You are perfectly loved exactly as you are

There is a peace when we're sharing our days

You show me acceptance in so many ways

I don't need a mask, and I don't have to hide

I can just be myself with you by my side

It is a freedom we both get to share

A beautiful proof of how deeply we care

Oh, Bobby, I pray that you hear this today

You will always be loved, every step of the way

By the Father above, and by me here below

His Spirit is with you wherever you go

Rest in His promise and look at the stars

You are perfectly loved exactly as you are

I praise Heaven's name for the bond that we hold

A story of grace that is beautifully told

May the Lord lift you up when the valleys are deep

May His presence surround you to guard and to keep

Nothing can sever the love that we share

You are held in His hands, you are kept in His care

So walk through this world with your head lifted high

Under the light of a limitless sky

My wonderful son, let your spirit take flight

You are wrapped in a love that is endless and bright

Oh, Bobby, I pray that you hear this today

You will always be loved, every step of the way

By the Father above, and by me here below

His Spirit is with you wherever you go

Rest in His promise and look at the stars

You are perfectly loved exactly as you are

Yes, Bobby, you're loved exactly as you are
