Rhonda

Just an evening at a friend's house

I didn't know my world was about to change

But the Lord had a plan in the details

The moment that I heard you say your name

Rhonda, with your beautiful light

A quiet strength that caught my eye

I saw the hand of God that night

When He brought you into my life

Hallelujah for the gift of you

A love so tender, a heart so true

You're the sweetest grace I've ever known

The smartest, strongest soul to call my own

I lift my hands and thank the Lord above

For blessing my life with Rhonda's love

Standing at the altar to make our vows

Promising forever under Heaven's gaze

Your affectionate touch still grounds me now

And holds me steady through all my days

So loving and wise in all you do

A pure reflection of the Maker's art

Every morning I wake up next to you

I feel the beating of a grateful heart

Hallelujah for the gift of you

A love so tender, a heart so true

You're the sweetest grace I've ever known

The smartest, strongest soul to call my own

I lift my hands and thank the Lord above

For blessing my life with Rhonda's love

A cord of three strands cannot break

With God at the center of the promises we make

Your beautiful spirit is my safe place

A living picture of the Father's grace

Hallelujah for the gift of you

A love so tender, a heart so true

You're the sweetest grace I've ever known

The smartest, strongest soul to call my own

I lift my hands and thank the Lord above

For blessing my life with Rhonda's love

Yes, I thank the Lord above

For my sweet Rhonda's love
