Kevin

You always had a joke and a welcoming grin

Lighting up the room the second you walked in

With a beautiful smile that could carry the day

You had a gift for laughing the shadows away

You gathered up friends everywhere that you went

And never took for granted the time that we spent

Oh, Kevin, you loved the beauty God made

Your dogs running wild in the afternoon shade

Casting a line where the river runs deep

And finding a waterfall's secret to keep

I'm gonna miss your sweet hugs, but I want you to know

I will love you always, wherever I go

There's a hole in our hearts that is heavy to bear

But we look at your brothers and still see you there

Alan and Adam, they miss you so much

And your mama still feels the warmth of your touch

We'll hold onto the joy and the memories we shared

There was never a doubt about how much you cared

Oh, Kevin, you loved the beauty God made

Your dogs running wild in the afternoon shade

Casting a line where the river runs deep

And finding a waterfall's secret to keep

I'm gonna miss your sweet hugs, but I want you to know

I will love you always, wherever I go

I know you're up in Heaven by a crystal clear stream

Living in the peace of a beautiful dream

With the Lord by your side and a line in the lake

We'll carry your light every step that we take

Oh, Kevin, you loved the beauty God made

Your dogs running wild in the afternoon shade

Casting a line where the river runs deep

And finding a waterfall's secret to keep

I'm gonna miss your sweet hugs, but I want you to know

I will love you always, wherever I go

Yeah, my beautiful son, I want you to know

I will love you always, wherever I go
