Yaribeth

You were the first to open this door

A kind of love I had not known before

My first granddaughter, a gift from above

You filled up my world with a beautiful love

I look at you now, and I stand in awe

Of the wonderful plan that the Good Lord saw

Oh, Yaribeth, you shine so bright

I love your smile, it’s a heavenly light

I look at the person you're growing to be

And I am so proud of the beauty I see

You’re a sweet, sweet answer to my prayer

Walking in grace, spreading hope everywhere

You have a mind that is brilliant and clear

A hardworking spirit that perseveres

You are so smart, but you're gentle and kind

Leaving a trail of compassion behind

In all that you do, you give it your all

Answering every new season and call

Oh, Yaribeth, you shine so bright

I love your smile, it’s a heavenly light

I look at the person you're growing to be

And I am so proud of the beauty I see

You’re a sweet, sweet answer to my prayer

Walking in grace, spreading hope everywhere

May He guide your steps as you journey ahead

May His peace be the path where your spirit is led

I lift up my hands and I thank God for you

For the wonderful, beautiful things that you do

Oh, Yaribeth, you shine so bright

I love your smile, it’s a heavenly light

I look at the person you're growing to be

And I am so proud of the beauty I see

You’re a sweet, sweet answer to my prayer

Walking in grace, spreading hope everywhere
