Selanda

The day that you were born, I looked into your face

I saw those pretty brown eyes, you were my saving grace

So full of curiosity, waking up to see

The beautiful beginning of who you're meant to be

You took my breath away without a single word

And gave me all the hope I needed in this world

Oh, Selanda, you are wonderfully made

Fearfully and beautifully, never let it fade

Strong and so confident, generous and true

God has a mighty plan to prosper you

Keep shining your light, let your spirit unfurl

I always knew you'd sparkle in this world

I still remember listening the first time that you sang

I knew that you would sparkle the moment the music rang

Your passion for your books and art inspires me every day

You're wise beyond your years in every word you say

You paint a brighter picture with everything you do

And I am just so proud to share this life with you

Oh, Selanda, you are wonderfully made

Fearfully and beautifully, never let it fade

Strong and so confident, generous and true

God has a mighty plan to prosper you

Keep shining your light, let your spirit unfurl

I always knew you'd sparkle in this world

You always keep me laughing, your humor is a gift

Your open, giving nature gives everyone a lift

Whenever I need courage, I just look at you

You're walking in the purpose that God is leading to

Oh, Selanda, you are wonderfully made

Fearfully and beautifully, never let it fade

Strong and so confident, generous and true

God has a mighty plan to prosper you

Keep shining your light, let your spirit unfurl

I always knew you'd sparkle in this world

Yes, I always knew you'd sparkle in this world
