Christian

Sixty-one years of a life fully lived

Always looking for something to give

A gentle spirit who steps to the side

Letting your love for your family guide

Christian, you worry for everyone else

Tending to them while you empty yourself

But the Father in Heaven supplies all you need

According to riches in glory, indeed

For the heart that loves God and gives it all away

He is holding you close in His presence today

May you find quiet rest, let His promises unfold

May you prosper, even as it prospers with your soul

You are so kind, with a heart made of grace

Always making sure others are safe in their place

You carry the burdens of those that you love

But now it is time to draw strength from above

The well of your kindness needs water to drink

And the Savior is closer than you could ever think

Cause the Father in Heaven supplies all you need

According to riches in glory, indeed

For the heart that loves God and gives it all away

He is holding you close in His presence today

May you find quiet rest, let His promises unfold

May you prosper, even as it prospers with your soul

Philippians four and nineteen is the light

He will sustain you through morning and night

You’ve served and you’ve cared for sixty-one years

Now let Him bring comfort and quiet your fears

Lift up your hands, let the weary heart rest

The one who gives all is the one who is blessed

Yes, the Father in Heaven supplies all you need

According to riches in glory, indeed

For the heart that loves God and gives it all away

He is holding you close in His presence today

May you find quiet rest, let His promises unfold

May you prosper, even as it prospers with your soul

Christian, may you prosper, even as it prospers with your soul
