Ricky

We sat down at a table at the Chinese buffet

I didn't know my world was gonna change that day

Watching SpongeBob SquarePants, laughing at the screen

The start of the most tender love I've ever seen

Ricky, you are always there to catch me when I fall

Since that very first date, you have been my all

You taught me I deserve to be loved, you showed me my worth

With a kindness and compassion for everyone on earth

You've got the warmest embrace, and kisses that melt my soul

You are the love of my life, the greatest story told

I will love you for today, tomorrow, always and forever

Hand in hand, heart to heart, we're walking this together

We've spent countless hours out fishing on the lake

Taking quiet walks, sharing every breath we take

Or just spending the night in, snuggled on the couch

Watching our movies as the stars come out

You're always there for me, my husband and my friend

My one and only true love, on who I can depend

You taught me I deserve to be loved, you showed me my worth

With a kindness and compassion for everyone on earth

You've got the warmest embrace, and kisses that melt my soul

You are the love of my life, the greatest story told

I will love you for today, tomorrow, always and forever

Hand in hand, heart to heart, we're walking this together

There's no one else who can fill my heart, my body, mind, and soul

With the kind of love you give to me, a love that overflows

I want to walk right side by side, with our fingers intertwined

In this lifetime and every one to come, I'm yours and you are mine

'Cause you taught me I deserve to be loved, you showed me my worth

With a kindness and compassion for everyone on earth

Your sensual, warm embrace, and kisses that melt my soul

Ricky, you're the love of my life, the greatest story told

I will love you for today, tomorrow, always and forever

Hand in hand, heart to heart, we're walking this together

Yeah, in this lifetime and the next, it's you and me forever
