Shawnee Lou

We spent almost every single day right by your side

Watching your contagious smile shining far and wide

You were a bright and happy person, walking in the sun

A fast and faithful friend to absolutely everyone

A thoughtful sister and a daughter through and through

We were so blessed to share our days with Shawnee Lou

Now you're our angel in heaven, looking down from above

Leaving us a beautiful legacy of love

Grumpy and I are keeping our promises to you

We'll guide them and protect them, like you would want us to

We'll hold your babies close to see them safely through

We'll take care of them till we meet again, Shawnee Lou

You loved your children more than anything on earth

Gave them your whole heart from the moment of their birth

We see your gentle kindness in Seth and Caleb's eyes

And Bella Rose has your spirit, reaching for the skies

You poured your soul into the family that you grew

We are so proud to be the parents of a girl like you

Now you're our angel in heaven, looking down from above

Leaving us a beautiful legacy of love

Grumpy and I are keeping our promises to you

We'll guide them and protect them, like you would want us to

We'll hold your babies close to see them safely through

We'll take care of them till we meet again, Shawnee Lou

The house is a little quieter without you here today

But we feel your heaven shining when the children play

Grumpy and I are standing steady, standing tall

Wrapping our arms around them through it all

'Cause you're our angel in heaven, looking down from above

Leaving us a beautiful legacy of love

Grumpy and I are keeping our promises to you

We'll guide them and protect them, like you would want us to

We'll hold them close and see them safely through

We'll take care of them till we meet again, Shawnee Lou
