Chris

Chris, you always know just how to make me smile

With that gentle patience, making every day worthwhile

You're so quick to make me laugh when the stress is getting deep

Loving and so caring, you're the promise that I keep

Always stepping up, always helpful through the day

You make this house a home in every single way

I will always love you, Chris, no matter what we face

You're the one who holds us in a comforting embrace

Thank you for the father that you are to our boy

Filling up his spirit with so much light and joy

I'll love you forever, I just want you to know

Thank you for being an amazing dad to Angelo

I take it back to the room where our lives were rearranged

The moment he arrived, how the whole wide world had changed

Tears fell from your eyes when they placed him in your arms

Swearing you would keep him safe from any kind of harm

You looked so protective, holding him against your chest

I knew right then and there our little family was blessed

I will always love you, Chris, no matter what we face

You're the one who holds us in a comforting embrace

Thank you for the father that you are to our boy

Filling up his spirit with so much light and joy

I'll love you forever, I just want you to know

Thank you for being an amazing dad to Angelo

You're the shield around us, standing steady, standing strong

With you in our corner is exactly where we belong

Through the shifting seasons, no matter what we do

My heart is firmly planted right here next to you

'Cause I will always love you, Chris, no matter what we face

You're the one who holds us in a comforting embrace

Thank you for the father that you are to our boy

Filling up his spirit with so much light and joy

I'll love you forever, I just want you to know

Thank you for being an amazing dad to Angelo
