Tanner, Kelby and Jayden

I remember the day that you came to stay

The shadows in this house just faded away

When I got custody, my whole world changed

Every little piece of my heart rearranged

I was stepping up, doing what a grandparent should

But you brought the sunshine like I knew you would

I love y'all to the moon and back

Through the brightest days and the nights pitch black

God looked down and knew exactly what to do

He couldn't have sent no better young boys than you

Yeah, my heart is full and my skies are blue

'Cause heaven gave me Tanner, Kelby, and Jayden too

You're so full of life, always on the go

Outgoing and fun, keeping me on my toes

But what makes me proudest at the end of the day

Is the respectful and caring attention you pay

You look out for each other, you're loving and kind

The sweetest grandsons a person could ever find

I love y'all to the moon and back

Through the brightest days and the nights pitch black

God looked down and knew exactly what to do

He couldn't have sent no better young boys than you

Yeah, my heart is full and my skies are blue

'Cause heaven gave me Tanner, Kelby, and Jayden too

Some folks might say that I rescued you

But deep in my soul, I know the truth

When I took you in, the blessing was mine

You gave this old house a reason to shine

Tanner, Kelby, and Jayden, hear me now

I'll always be here to help you out

You're growing up fast, but you'll always be

The greatest gift that was given to me

I thank the Lord every time I pray

For the three little boys who stole my heart away

I love y'all to the moon and back

Through the brightest days and the nights pitch black

God looked down and knew exactly what to do

He couldn't have sent no better young boys than you

Yeah, my heart is full and my skies are blue

'Cause heaven gave me Tanner, Kelby, and Jayden too

To the moon and back, my whole life through

God couldn't have sent no better boys than you
