Heather

Heather, I watch how you pour your heart out

A beautiful love that leaves no room for doubt

You go out of your way just to show me you care

Through every new season, I know you'll be there

Your quiet devotion is a sight to behold

A faithful companion as our story unfolds

I will always choose you, again and again

Your faithful protector, your partner, your friend

When the burdens get heavy, just talk to me

I'll be the safe harbor you need me to be

My promise is forever, steady and true

Heather, my darling, I'm choosing you

I remember the valley, the tears that we cried

When they said that a family might be denied

But God heard our whispers and answered with grace

Now two precious miracles run through this place

Through every hard moment, we’ve grown side by side

With heaven above us and love as our guide

I will always choose you, again and again

Your faithful protector, your partner, your friend

When the burdens get heavy, just talk to me

I'll be the safe harbor you need me to be

My promise is forever, steady and true

Heather, my darling, I'm choosing you

You give so much of your soul to this home

I want you to know you are never alone

So bring me your worries, whatever you face

My shoulders are yours, let me carry the weight

You love me so deeply in all that you do

Now let me pour all of my love into you

Oh, I will always choose you, again and again

Your faithful protector, your partner, your friend

When the burdens get heavy, just talk to me

I'll be the safe harbor you need me to be

My promise is forever, steady and true

God gave us two miracles, and He gave me you

Yes, Heather, forever, I'm choosing you
