Amanda

I still remember that very first date

A friendly smile that changed my fate

I saw the wisdom shining in your eyes

A gentle spirit, beautiful and wise

You have a tender heart for every living thing

A quiet grace that makes my spirit sing

Amanda, you are my answered prayer

A love so deep, a soul so rare

Through every season, whatever we weather

I just want to be with you forever

My heart is yours, my faithful friend

I will love you, Amanda, to the very end

I remember the altar, taking your hand

Making a promise to forever stand

Then holding our children, watching them grow

Your love for our family is the brightest glow

And when I hear the sudden music of your laugh

I know that heaven has blessed my path

Amanda, you are my answered prayer

A love so deep, a soul so rare

Through every season, whatever we weather

I just want to be with you forever

My heart is yours, my faithful friend

I will love you, Amanda, to the very end

Every anniversary, a milestone of grace

I find my inspiration looking at your face

Through every joy and every single tear

I want a lifetime with you right here

You are the light that guides me through

I am so thankful God gave me you

Amanda, you are my answered prayer

A love so deep, a soul so rare

Through every season, whatever we weather

I just want to be with you forever

My heart is yours, my faithful friend

I will love you, Amanda, to the very end
